ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Naman. I research markets and build trading systems.

I’m Naman Rathi, a Finance and Accounting student at Penn State University with an expected graduation in 2027. I’m interested in investment research, portfolio risk, and systematic trading.

My projects combine market analysis, data, and software to make investment decisions easier to explain, evaluate, and improve.

MY APPROACH

Three perspectives I bring to research

Investment Research

Understand the investment thesis, business drivers, valuation questions, and sources of potential risk.

Systematic Testing

Build clear signal rules, validate assumptions, and compare outcomes with an appropriate benchmark.

Practical Tools

Translate repeated decisions into systems that support planning, portfolio records, and review.

EXPERIENCE THROUGH PROJECTS

Research becomes more useful when it can be tested and reviewed

Building VN Trading

VN Trading is my trading journal and portfolio decision workspace. It connects trade planning, portfolio accounting, analysis, and structured reviews so that each result can be traced back to the original decision.

Developing this app reinforced the value of organized records, data reconciliation, risk rules, and a repeatable review process.
